Rev Chris update for Easter Day

Dear all,
I send this as the ‘Easter’ update even though it is not Easter yet! We are currently in Holy Week and I do hope that you have taken the opportunity to tune into the online services that have been taking place each evening from Monday to Saturday, 7pm, inclusive.
Whilst those services are on Facebook you can also view them on the St Nicholas website once they have been initially broadcast. Each service has considered a different character in the Easter story. It is interesting seeing things from differing perspectives in this way as it may help us to gain a fuller understanding of what is going on – I am sure the same can be said of the lives we live and the situations we encounter.
In addition to those online services there is an OUTDOOR service on Good Friday at the back of St Nicholas Church at 2.30pm. The services for Easter Sunday, and the following Sunday are listed on the Services & Events page – please remember to book for ‘in church’ services.
Please also note the St Nicholas annual meeting on the 12th of April at 7.30pm, on Zoom. I attach an agenda and if you wish to have a copy of the 2020 accounts to peruse please do let me know, although I will have them available on the evening.
I do hope that you have a meaningful Easter and that, with the changes in restrictions, you are able to connect with people you have not seen for some time. We will be taking the opportunity to see our children in various back gardens.
Every blessing
Rev Chris
