Prayers – May 2025
‘So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness.’ Colossians 2: 6-7
Thank you, Lord, for Your abundant Grace and mercy to us. We give thanks for Your guiding and leading us over the last months. We pray that we will continue to seek You in all areas of our personal and Church life. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit as we move forward empowered to be part of Your vision for our community. We pray for Rev. Claude as she grows into her role in Your Church here in Maidstone. Give her understanding, wisdom and compassion to bring Your love to those we serve. We ask, Lord, that we will clearly see how we are to be part of Your work in Allington, that Your Church will be united, thankful, loving and welcoming.’
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take.’ Proverbs 3: 5
Lord, we don’t know what lay before us, but we commit our future to You knowing that You will equip us for the challenges and happenings that lay ahead. We thank you for all we have and know that You have us in the palm of Your hand.
We ask, Lord, that You will show each one of us the role we are able to play in building Your Church. Each one of us is chosen and loved by You, we all have a part to play, help us to see what to lay down and what to pick up that we may grow in unity. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to guide, teach and encourage us as we approach the future.
We continue to pray for King Charles, our Government and all those in authority that we may continue to live in freedom… free to worship You. We especially ask that You raise up leaders of integrity, honesty and compassion, and pray for all Your people in leadership roles
