Prayers
‘Come let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care,’ Psalm 95:6-7
Thank you, Lord, for your eternal love for us, that we can rest in the assurance of your love. Over and over You assure us of your amazing love, we know that we fail in so many areas, we make mistakes, but You are always willing to accept us back , to forgive our faults as we come to You in repentance. Thank you for Your steadfastness.
‘Love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you.’ Matt5:44
We pray for our broken world, torn with war & violence; for those who don’t know You. We pray for those who have no regard for anyone but self, who put no value on human life. They too are created in Your image, may they come to recognise You, open their eyes Lord, speak to them that they may turn to You and receive Your gift of eternal life.
‘And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for a time such as this.’ Esther 4:14
Turn our hearts & minds toward You and the role You have for us. Help us to put Your will and Your purpose ahead of our own. Please give us Your guidance as well as Your courage to live according to Your purpose in a time such as this.
Thank You for always being a light in the dark places of the world & of our lives. You are the light of the world, and You call us to be lights to others. Please, Lord, let Your light blaze in us so we may bring others to You.
‘What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.’ Micah 6:8
