‘Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.’ 1 Thess.5:18
Thank you Lord for Your goodness, Your steadfast love endures forever. We always have reason to worship You. No matter what the future may hold, we know that You are with us; nothing compares to You and nothing can stand against You. We pray, Lord, that our lives may bring praise to You.
‘The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.’ Psalm 24:1
We pray for the world and for all the people who live in it. We especially pray for all who seek refuge from oppression and tyranny. We ask Lord that You will break down the barriers of fear, doubt and suspicion in our hearts, that we may welcome others who we perceive as a problem.
We acknowledge that no one is a stranger to You, no one is beyond Your loving care, please watch over those seeking asylum, bring them safely to a new place, help us to show Your kindness remembering that Jesus had to flee to another land searching for a safe home.
‘Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.’ Hebrews 4:16
Thank you, Father, for Your mercy toward us, may we show grace & mercy toward those we meet on our journey through life. We give You our praise & thanks.
