PRAYERS
‘I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which He is to be praised,’   Isaiah 63:7

Lord, we do remind ourselves of all the good You have done for us, our salvation, so dearly paid for; our daily needs met; Your Holy Spirit to guide us into discernment and wisdom. May we, Lord, never fail to be thankful for Your love and kindness towards us. We praise You for Your unchanging nature.

We praise you and thank you for your Grace towards us, for Jesus through whom we have life, hope and purpose. We thank you for your word, guiding us into truth and witnessing your everlasting love. We thank you for the gifts you give to all your people, enabling us to serve you and others.

‘Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God’s people.’  Eph. 6:18 (CEV)

We pray, Lord, that you will make us aware of the tasks you have for us within Your church, and within the world beyond the church. We ask that You strengthen us together, give us your peace as we meet together.

We ask, Father, that you will have mercy on those in all the trouble spots around the world. It seems that we hear daily of yet another country in turmoil….Ukraine, Nigeria, Myanmar, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Korea. We pray for all your people in these troubled countries, give them the strength to endure and spread Your word. Bring peace into violence and anger. Let men see Your way.

We pray for all world leaders, bring into government men and women willing to strive for the good of all. We pray especially for our government, give those making leadership decisions discernment and wisdom in their selection. We ask that the right person will emerge as P.M.. that as a country we may be reminded of Your values.

‘For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.’ Romans 11:36
