WEEKLY PRAYERS
Our loving Father God, we address you by many names and we experience you in a number of ways, we thank you that you are Truth. Jesus came bringing that truth to us. We praise you because in every place and at all times we can know you as the God of truth.

We thank you that in all that we do, in our work or rest, our laughter or our tears, in lowliness or in fellowship, you remain faithful and true. You never deny your nature. We thank you for what your Spirit’s presence does for us and in us, as you come as truth in every situation.

Grant O Lord, that each day we may be awakened to the truth of your love for us; that familiar words may shine with new meaning and that our worship may be cleansed of mere formality. Open our eyes to see your true loveliness and make our hearts to burn within us as you speak your true word to us; that we may know ourselves forgiven, energised with new life, filled with your new vitality and power through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN.

God of all times on this All Saints Day, as we remember all in the history of our Church, we pray for all the saints of our present and our future. We thank you for their generosity, compassion, and self-sacrifice. We ask that you will give us all that we need to love and serve you, in the places where you have called us to be signs of your good news. May we recognise that we can all be saints working for your kingdom. Make us more aware that you are the only one from whom comes every perfect gift, including love, joy and peace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

We pray for all who are suffering whether through illness, unemployment, or loneliness during this pandemic. We pray for all who are seeking solutions and that in your good time all parts of the world may be relieved of the problems we are now experiencing. In Jesus name, we pray. AMEN.

O God our Father you love us and by your grace give us eternal courage and strong hope: encourage our hearts and strengthen us in every good deed and word: let the Spirit of peace give us peace at all times and in every way; and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all AMEN (From 2 Thessalonians 2)
